Date night!

On Monday, we were blessed with a surprise "date night" with 3 other couples from our church. We started off the night with Dinner at Fujiyama, a wonderful restaurant in Olympia where they prepare the food right there on the grill at your table. When we went out to the parking lot after dinner, a limousine was waiting for us! We all got in and rode up to Tacoma, where we had coffee and dessert. The driver took us all over downtown Tacoma and Ruston Way. We had a blast just laughing, sharing funny stories, and blessing and encouraging each other. The friendships that have been cultivated during our last year in Centralia with these couples have been so vital to our survival here. We are so blessed by the work the Lord has done in our hearts, and by the special, special people who have become such dear friends! We love you guys and your families!

Great Wolf Lodge

Our family surprised and blessed us with a stay at the Great Wolf Lodge! Many of Kirsten's extended family were also staying there, and we had

SUCH A FUN time playing with all of the cousins!

Back in Action!

Okay, okay, I know it's been quite a while, so I FINALLY decided it was time to start blogging again! ;)

Our baby boy, Caleb, turned SIX years old on Wednesday! I can hardly believe it has been six years since his birth. Some of Caleb's favorite things include: music, dancing, worship, doing anything outside, helping me cook dinner, playing with his new cap gun, making forts, and anything "crafty." He is becoming quite the avid reader and is asking lots of questions that keep us on our toes!

This photo is of Caleb and his best buddy, Nehemiah Hires, at a little party we had for him in Tacoma. Caleb and Nehemiah have been buddies since before they were even born (since their mommies are such good friends!) :)
